The New Essay SupplementOne of the most popular programs for high school students this year is the Stanford Supplement Essay. Although the Essay Writer remains unchanged, the Essay Supplement is much improved this year. It has received so many great reviews that it would be hard to discuss all of the changes without going into great detail.First of all, you have to admit that the changes on the website are rather impressive. This year's design is much different than previous years. Previously, the Essay Writer appeared to be in a static page. Today, the Essay Supplement is not static, but the Essay Writer appears to be. There is also a new navigation bar on the right side of the screen, similar to the tabs on Microsoft Word.In addition, the homepage page displays a link on the upper right-hand corner that will take you to the Home Page. If you click on this link, you will see a FAQ section that answers a lot of frequently asked questions.The redesigned contact form now allows you to add a short message as a comment and send it to the instructors directly. Prior to this change, you had to copy and paste the comment text into the form.The biggest change for essays this year is the addition of essays to the Essay Topics page. This section has been completely redesigned and now features twelve 'standard' essay topics.At the top of the page, there is a link to the 'Essay Request' page. Here, you can enter the subject and topics for your essays and submit your request.On the right-hand side of the page, there is a link that takes you to the 'ContactingVarious People' page. Here, you can add your name to the list of survey takers, submit your essay to a research journal, or create an electronic paper.The changes on the Stanford Supplement do not end here. You can also find out how to contact the editors of different publishing houses by following the links on the top-right corner of the page.
